September 20-21, 2010: From a detour to Hot Springs, Arkansas, where I serendipitously happened upon the 2010 Cannonball Run, I headed back north through Little Rock and caught the Trans-Am from BeeBe through to Mississippi where I was again pulled off path by the blues.

Dale Walksler, proprietor of the most amazing motorcycle museum ever, Wheels Through Time, in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, where everything, from engine blueprints to a motorized toboggan to a 1903 Indian runs; he’s like the Motor-Whisperer.

<< The Buckstaff Bath House where I got a station-to-station spa treatment; whirlpool, sitz bath, steam box and needle shower, and (above) the Beauty Parlor in the Fordyce Bath House Museum.

With serendipitous luck I happened upon the 2010 Cannonball Run in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Pictures below are Henderson and Premier vintage running rides.

<< Mississippi cotton-land, swamp-land and crazy unstoppable vine-land ... scared to come across the mud-land, but I know it's out there!
